The environmental supervisor will oversee department functions with regards to the company's environmental responsibilities. They will develop and implement creative solutions and cost effective programs to address environmental issues as well as implement regulatory compliance and fuel system design/installation/monitoring systems.
The successful candidate will represent the company to outside stakeholders, including regulators, suppliers, vendors, etc. Additionally, the environmental supervisor will identify ways to minimize environmental impacts from our retail store operations and develop training materials/goals to achieve field support in minimizing environmental issues among other duties as assigned. Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred in environmental geology, science or engineering. Additional knowledge of such fields as advanced accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. is beneficial.
Experience:
This position requires 5+ years of working experience with local, state and federal regulators, internal corporate attorneys, engineers, health and safety managers, construction managers and mid-senior level maintenance and site operation personnel.
