The City of El Dorado is currently taking applications for initial employment of Firefighter-E.M.T. - Paramedic. The position offers: City Group Health Plan Job Related Educational Assistance Program Educational Incentives Retirement Program (LOPFI)
Requirements: Applicants must: Be 21 years old Have a valid AR Drivers License Must be a resident of Arkansas Pass extensive background check Pass a psychological, physical and Medical examination Pass pre-employment drug screen Live within 25 miles of the city or agree to move within 90 days of employment Have no felony convictions or Class A or B misdemeanor Applicants must pass the written, oral and physical portions of the examinations to be eligible for employment. Applications are available at the El Dorado Fire Department from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F. Applications must be turned in to the El Dorado Fire Department, 204 North West Avenue., El Dorado, AR no later than 4 p.m. March 8 to be eligible for 2012 testing.
