The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing patient accounts within a special billing area. They will monitor changes in billing procedures, patient billing activities, audit bills generated by billing system, and conduct follow-up of third party billings and other clinical business duties.
|
Requirements:
- Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
- Patient billing procedures and third party billing
- Ability to monitor and coordinate patient billing activities
- Analyze patient accounts
- Research and resolve issues with problem or difficult accounts
- Experience with Centricity or other EMR program and Microsoft Office software, a plus
