South Arkansas Community College is accepting applications for a full time Administrative Specialist I.  This position will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Dean and faculty of the Health Sciences division.


Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent.  One year of specialized training in administrative and/or clerical work or related field plus three years of experience. Applicant must: have strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications; have knowledge of or training in the use of office equipment; be well organized, especially in accurately maintaining files and records; have good verbal and written communication skills; possess exceptional interpersonal skills; have basic ability in arithmetic and calculations; and have ability to handle multiple tasks. A WAGE certificate is preferred.

A skills assessment test will be required prior to selection for an interview. Selected applicants will be contacted for the scheduling of this test.
