Mission: To identify and invest in the future leaders of Union County.
Leadership Union County is an 11-month program managed by the
Chamber Leadership Council with a focus on identifying and developing the
future leaders of our community. Through a series of retreats, sessions and
activities, class members build
close relationships as they learn about issues that affect our local community,
including economic development, government, education, healthcare, crime and
quality of life. Each full-day session features various interactive simulations
and activities aimed at showing class members how they can make a difference.
The inaugural Leadership Union County class began in
January 2012. Those interested in applying for Class II, which will begin in early
2013, may contact the Chamber at (870) 863-6113 or henry@goeldorado.com for more information.
