The El Dorado-Union County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Banquet is slated for April 9 at the El Dorado Conference Center.

The reception will start at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m. El Dorado High School’s jazz band, the “Jazz Cats,” will play during the reception and dinner.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Scott Street, Medical Center of South Arkansas’ president and CEO. Street will be joined on stage with guests to discuss the future of MCSA.

“We know how important the hospital is to a community and the future of our medical facility impacts all of us,” said Mike Dumas, El Dorado-Union County Chamber of Commerce president and CEO.

The chamber’s annual Banquet allows the public to see the new chamber leadership and ambassadors. During the banquet, the chamber celebrates the success of the previous year, along with announcing the Ambassador of the Year and the winner of the Nonprofit Excellence Award.
