El Dorado and Union County are about to gain another important tool to attract new residents and visitors to our area: an updated map with points of interest. In addition to El Dorado, the map will include insert maps of other cities in the county.
"We have so many hidden treasures that visitors may not be aware of, and a map is the natural place to present this sort of information,? said El Dorado Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Henry Florsheim. "This piece is a vital part of any relocation or visitors packet, and we're excited to work with Village Profile to make it happen."
Village Profile, a nationally-known company that specializes in producing publications for communities, is teaming with the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce to produce the map. This new map will be consistent with the new city branding and show a variety of areas of interest for visitors, including parks, historic buildings, museums and more.
The map will be included in all visitor and relocation packets. Already included in the packet is the new El Dorado Insider?s Guide, produced locally by The Diamond Agency, and other materials.
