Oil and Gas: Quanico Oil will drill in Champagnolle Field

One South Arkansas drilling permit was issued last week by the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission.

Quanico Oil & Gas is the operator and Sewell Drilling Co. is the contractor for the Pamco-Moody No. 2, 1,979 feet FNL and 280 feet FWL in Section 17-17S-14W in the Champagnolle Field of Union County. Permit depth is to 6,200 feet in the Smackover Limestone. Work will start April 16.
