Point of Grace and Bebo Norman to Headline An Evening of Compassion in El Dorado

Main Street El Dorado, El Dorado Chemical Company and First Christian Church of El Dorado are proud to present An Evening of Compassion featuring Point of Grace and Bebo Norman on Friday, March 2, at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The tour is sponsored by Compassion International and will feature both acts doing full sets.

Point of Grace is an all-female, contemporary Christian music group from Arkansas. The trio consists of Shelley Breen, Denise Jones, and Leigh Cappillino. The group started out as a quartet in 1991.The group's debut self-titled album was released in 1993; since then, they have been recognized as one of the top Contemporary Christian music bands in the United States. In 2003, they released their ninth album, 24 – a compilation of 24 previous hits.

Bebo Norman is a contemporary Christian musician from Columbus, Georgia. He gained popularity when touring with another Christian band, Caedmon's Call. Norman's fans call themselves Simpletons. His most successful album to date is Myself When I Am Real, which includes hit songs "Great Light of the World" and "Falling Down." Other popular songs by Norman include "Disappear," "Nothing Without You,? "I Will Lift My Eyes" and "Borrow Mine."

"Point of Grace performed at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium in May of 2008 and was the first SOLD-OUT performance through Main Street El Dorado?s partnership with the El Dorado Advertising & Promotion Commission,? said Mark Givens, Executive Director of Main Street El Dorado. "This has been a great partnership and has brought many acts to our community that would not have performed here without this unique public/private partnership.?

Tickets for the event are $40 (Golden Circle), $20 (Orchestra), $15 (Parquet and Balcony).
