Dr. Steve Smart, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing in El Dorado, has completed his new book “Fixation.”

The Magnolia Regional Medical Center Auxiliary will host a book signing for Dr. Steve Smart from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 22.
Dr. Smart, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing in El Dorado, has completed his new book “Fixation.” It is an historical narrative mixed with suspenseful events revolving around the postsurgical death of a patient.
“Fixation” is an amalgam of real and fictional happenings involving death, murder, and conspiracy surrounding the medical field.
“Fixation” is from New York City-based Page Publishing.

“The uneasiness in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was palpable Monday morning when Dr. Starnes and Dr. Jennings arrived at work.
