Newsies Audition Workshop

Free Event • Reservations are required for the Two Day Audition Workshop for Summer Musical, “Newsies”. The Movement Intensive workshop hosted director Kristen Blossom will be held in SAAC’s Ballet Studio on Saturday, February 25, 6:30-9:30pm and Sunday, February 26,1:00-4:00pm. Open to adults and teens age 13 and up.
Extra! Extra! Read all about it! It’s time for a “Newsies” extravaganza! Get ready to audition for a coveted cast spot in SAAC’s 2023 summer musical, “Newsies”, with an audition prep workshop! At this Movement Intensive, director Kristen Blossom will teach two dances, work with students on developing characters, and exploring the real-world background of “Newsies”. She will also help students with audition preparation and expectations, as well as creating and maintaining safe and respectful spaces in the world of theatre.
