Assist with the administration, coordination, and organization of the agency financial department. Assure compliance with all federal and state regulations according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Assist with compiling and analyzing financial information, preparing reports, establishing and maintaining vendor accounts, performing payroll functions, and other duties assigned by the Fiscal Officer.
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a minimum of two years accounting experience and a firm understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles plus the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and legal documents, and financial reports. Excellent oral and written communication skills required and must be proficient in the use of Word, Excel, and accounting software with accuracy.
